I was checking geeklog out yesterday, I think it is by far the best 
replacement
for what we use phpnuke for today, plus it has a very nice calendering 
feature that I really
like... the internals do look alot like phpnuke and are easy to follow as 
well. I think we have
a strong runner-up...
