Is there any way to change the kernel upgrade procedure so you can keep
the existing and upgrade kernel on a Suse system at the same time?
When you run yast(you) to do the update, the procedure erases the
'/lib/modules/2.x.x.x' directory of the running kernel - thereby
inevitably having to restart the system on the new kernel right away, as
the modules for the existing (read as 'running') kernel are gone.
This makes for longer late-evening updates.
There has to be a file somewhere that controls the upgrade procedure.
