[olug] tapeware issue

I have a system with Tapeware and a certance tape drive installed that 
keeps locking up. The drive has been replaced and I moved the system 
from REDhat 8 to RHFC1. After the tape backup is supposed to run I am 
left with a Tapeware gui that is blank  and won't close unless I xkill. 
Seems this happens  after  one  or two tapebackup runs.

Any direction  would be appreciated.
