Ok, back out your config changes to sshd_config....
try first with sshv1 then sshv2
putty comands:
putty.exe -ssh -1 -l username host
putty.exe -ssh -2 -l username host
openssh commands:
ssh -1 -l username host
ssh -2 -l username host
Oddly enough olug.org was upgraded to Suse 9 and I am unable to login the box via sshv1 - no problems with v2
( I am about to go looking for the root cause actually )
