[olug] Suse 9.1 first problem

I finally found a problem with 9.1.  I didn't notice it until i 
rebooted my machine.  The sound will not work.  I tried XMMS, and 
several of the other media players, including Totem Movie Player (plays 
sound too).  I rebooted, still nothing.  Then I went to YaST and went 
to hardware and sound and volume and tested it and it worked fine.  
After I ran that test, I started XMMS again and it worked fine.  Then I 
looked at the modules that were loaded.  I then rebooted and the same 
modules were loaded.  So, what might be going on there?  Anyone have 
any bright ideas?
