I am not familiar with eclipse but if it is a console
application, which I assume it is, then just put this
in your command box in the menu:
konsole -e eclipse arg1 arg2

Check out `konsole --help' for more options.  You can
tinker with window sizes and such.

As for the cash program, have you tried running
quicken with wine?

Sort of an advanced undertaking but might be
worthwhile for you.
