I am beginning to wonder just when I think I am getting it, I lose it...
I see that GTK is installed but when I try to install (compile) a program
that requires it, it says the config script can't be found.  So I can't find
it and try to reinstall it and now it says it can't install it because it
can't find GLIB and it shows being installed.  Did all this stuff get put in
the wrong place or do I have to add them to the path (if I can find them).
Since I don't have much on there (1 program of mine) I will take my notes
from what I have done so far and just start over.  This time instead of
letting the install pick the packages to install I will do it.  That is
another thing I tried to install (what appeared to be the missing packages)
with the package manager menu and it when through and check the system then
I marked everything I wanted and it said it could not install them until
they were installed ?  Oh well it is 2 AM I will sleep on it.   I will watch
for any ideas before I do a rebuild tomorrow (Saturday) night, incase
somebody has a better solution.
