You are correct, Kent. That is one of the main distinctions ... XP Home
cannot join a domain (it also doesn't do EFS). Everything else = same.

In addition, if you want the DC stuff to work make sure you aren't using
XP home addition. This may have changed but when I was setting up our
DC about 6 months ago that was the case.
