[olug] eye strain

Hey all,

I wanted to know how everyone deals (or doesn't deal) with eye strain.

I took my first full time computer job in January this year, and the long hours
spent in front of the computer has been taking its toll on my eys for some
time.

I spoke with my boss a few months ago about getting an LCD monitor to replace
the CRT, but he says we don't have the funds at the moment, so I'm picking up a
Kogi 14.1" w/my own $$ today to take into work.

If I stay away from the computer after coming home in the evenings, my eyes
take advantage of the down time and "recover" from the toils of the day. 
However, that's not always possible because I need some personal time online
(like now).

I probably need glasses (and have so for several years), but I'm a stubborn
fsck and haven't yet gone to the eye doctor.  Should I face the music?

Anyway, thanks for reading.  Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
