The problem with Avocent is their proprietary, expensive cables - you
can't mix & match. =(
Thanks for the info though.
One of the IT vendors pointed me towards a AutoView 400, like this one:

But there is no way I am getting that sort of funds to pay for one of
those, plus cables & etc. It does not make sense either, if I have new Sun
boxes (no legacy PS2 stuff) that I will connect to the KVM.
