[olug] USB Hub works, CDR doesn't

Well, I just got some time, and was able to successfuly burn a CD.

How?  I'm not so sure . . . I usually use (and prefer) eroaster.  But
(even though cdrecord -scanbus didn't work) I decided to try xcdroast.
That that worked wonderfully.

I'm not sure what happened, and I won't stop figuring out, but how I can
at least back up some data.

Do you realize how many holes there could be if people would
