Basically.

Depending on the Sun you'll need you'll either need a Macintosh 8-pin 
modem cable or a gender changer on the null modem cable.  If you have a 
Sun that takes neither I'm jealous :)

Minicom is usually a BAD idea to use for consoleing into a sun.  Kermit 
works much better.
