And who's going to do that? The people on the list who can provide
comments on the tips probably don't feel like filtering through tips
every day and deciding if you're worthy of receiving them and said
persons rambling about the tip. I sure don't. I will discuss them on
the list though.

The mails aren't hitting your mailbox as 'Re: that thing we talked
about' like spam, they always come in as '[OLUG] Unix Tip' in the
subject, usually followed by discussion by people you know. It takes 5
seconds, one time, to filter them all out. In the time you took to send
that email, you could have configured a filter. Like I said before,
send an email to the list if you don't understand how to filter mail,
we'll help you out. Even if you use windows.
