[olug] pico rpm

If you haven't done so already, configure urpmi to search the various
Mandrake mirrors.  You can do this easily by going to
http://plf.zarb.org/~nanardon/urpmiweb.php and following the directions.

Then:

# urpmq pico
no package named pico

Not surprising.  The pico editor isn't GPLed.  However, as pointed out
above, nano is a GPLed pico clone.

# urpmq nano
nano
# urpmi nano
    ftp://mirror.mcs.anl.gov/pub/Mandrake/iso/../9.1/contrib/RPMS/nano-1.2.0-1mdk.i586.rpm
installing /var/cache/urpmi/rpms/nano-1.2.0-1mdk.i586.rpm

Preparing...

   1:nano

After configuring urpmi you could do the same thing from the Mandrake
Control Center instead of from the command line, but learning these
command line tools will make administering your system much nicer.
