In case you may have missed it before, there will be another Computers For
Africa (CFA) presentation and informational session one week from today in
association with the UNO ACM [1].
When: Thursday, November 21st @ 7:45 PM
Where: Peter Kiewit Institute - Room 279
67th and Pacific, Omaha NE
Who: Presentation about Computers For Africa
by Tim and Ruth Leacock
-general public invited-
Why: To find out more about the organization,
the cause, and how you can help to
"bridge the digital divide"!
CFA is a local Omaha based non profit organization founded in 2000 that
has already sent over 175 computer systems to schools in Africa. Plans
are to ship out another 200 by the spring of 2003. CFA needs help though
as this is a completely volunteer run operation. Usable computer systems
(166mhz, 64mb, 2gig and up), Windows licenses, donations,
hardware/software upgrading and configuration, and other help is needed.
Please see their website for more information on how you can help.

Please forward to friends and others whom you feel may be interested.
Thanks.
RSVPs to ( cfa at bwiese.cotse.net ) would be appreciated.
peace
