[olug] Xfree86

I just went through the whole hoopla of configuring XFree/RedHat 7.3/KDE
to be my workstation.  There is an excellent utility called
Xconfigurator that really makes it easy to set up the basic video stuff
like resolution and color depth.  Unforunately since I was doing a
mutliple-video-card/multiple-monitor workstation I still ended up having
to dig through the config files and read obscure documentation :(

One word of caution (since it took me forever to figure this out
myself).  Redhat likes to include multiple versions of XFree.  The
config file that specifically applies to Xfree 4 is
/etc/X11/XF86Config-4 and NOT /etc/X11/XF86Config
