Thats what I've heard too... go with HP for a linux friendly printer. I
actually swept up a NEC SuperScript 1800N from tigerdirect like 6 months
ago for $250!!! Its networked of course 10/100 even i think?, 12-20mb i
think, duplex, laser, 12ppm works with linux just fine.
