actually it was was to simple, under suse 7.3, I looked into the logs
and found that the device, I found the archos usb to be /dev/sda1 and
the camera to be /dev/sdb1. The support for these devices are, from
what I could find to be under the 2.4.10 or newer kernel. Just run
mount on the devices ie: mount /dev/sda1 /windows/c and the camera I
set up as mount /dev/sdb1 /sony. They both act just like a harddrive
as in winows os.
