What are some alternatives to using Pine? Looking for a text based email
client that I can send files between linux machines without the x
server.

Isnt there big security issues with pine?

I will have to admit I got lost in mutt it would probably work but I am
to stupid to figure it out..

linux sure humbles me --- hard to keep my composure some days
