[olug] Part Comparison

I certainly do not want to start a processor war here,
but I would like to add my 2 cents. And I guess with
that in mind I will refrain from stating my personal opinion,
and simply state the facts that are known to me as a hardware tech.

AMD processors are notably faster with GOOD motherboards.
However we have had bad luck with AMD processor in general,
with at least a 30 percent return rate, some are even DOA.

(when I say return, I mean, returned to manufacturer due
to product failure)

I know of only 3 Intel processors that have been returned
in the 4 years that I have worked at our store.(Fairbury, NE)

We use and sell mainly DFI motherboards with Intel chips purchased
from Futureware Inc in Omaha. 

But, that's just what I know, and I don't know much.
