[olug] How secure is SSH?, or Secure File Transfer?

I haven't had any problems with it. I use ssh and scp from
www.cygwin.com on my windows machines and they work fine.

It's been reported that there may be some security issues with ssh1 but
the ssh2 protocol is still considered secure by everyone that I know
of. Even the security issues with ssh1 aren't, if I understand
correctly, exploitable by a script kiddie.
