[olug] DVD/AVI/MPEG players

I know there was a meeting recently that went over DVD playing on
linux.  As a related question what is the best (speed/resource) viewer
that people have found?  I have a dual PII 350 at home with a GeForce2
vid card.  Xine is best I have found for viewing but I still have
problems keeping audio and video in sync while watching DVDs, VCDs and
raw avi or mpg files.  I have looked at OMI, mplayer and Xine so far and
Xine seems to track the best on my slow machine.  I know I should spend
the $150 and just get a new MB/CPU but I'm cheap.
