[olug] Any Python Coders?

I am trying to teach myself programming using Python,
I would be interested in a local list or something of
the sort, there is a python newsgroup at python.org
aimed at beginners that is really good, covering not
lust issues that people new to programming,
unfortunately it is a very high volume list and i just
don't have time to sort through all the mail it
generates :) If you are interested in starting a local
Python group or list, and are willing to take utter
newbies into the fold you can email me off-list at
