[olug] WebDAV

I've been trying to get webDAV working on the webserver at work. The module
tells me it wants libexpat.so.0, so I downloaded and compiled expat. But, it
generates libexpat.a instead of a dynamic library. Can anyone tell me how to
get it to compile as a .so file?
