[olug] [OT] Sparc monitor

Sun Monitors work well on PC's.  I'm on one right now doing 1280x1024
running RedHat 7.1 with a Diamond Viper 550 card.  I bought an adaptor that
goes from PC VGA to the funky adaptor the Sun monitors use.

WindowMaker looks great at 1280x1024 :-)

Are you sure?

Sun framebuffers are fixed-frequency devices.  Unless you have a multisync

monitor that can do 1152x900 @ 60Hz (or so), do not expect the monitor to
work.

No monitors here.  All my Suns have the console on the serial port. And a
PC with Hummingbird Exceed if I want X11 :)
