Other have mentioned the Linksys firewall/router internet connection
sharing device.
Go to the local CompUSA/Best Buy and look for firewalls. Those things
have a surprising level of capabilities. From what I can see just about
the only thing Linux/any other *nix has over them is the ability to act as
a VPN endpoint.
