[OLUG] SSH Stuff

Anyone know a good, beginning to end reference for SSH? Mine is being rather
grouchy and refusing to connect to my web hosting service.

Basically, here is the error:

[ferguson at cx114367-a bin]$ ssh hired-goons.org
warning: Authentication failed.
Disconnected; protocol version not supported (Illegal protocol version.).

My guess is that I misconfigured something, but so far, no luck figuring it
out.
