So how does one find this G+ Hangout?  Is there a link to it, or a 
community that I must join?  I wish I could attend this meeting in 
person, but I can't make the drive up from Lincoln.

I'm a very part-time professional photographer and use Linux 
exclusively.  It's not uncommon for me to shoot 2000 frames in a 24-hour 
period at an event.  I've got somewhere between 100-150K images in my 
library.  The software options for managing that number of photos are 
adequate (usually Corel's AfterShot Pro & sometimes Digikam), but the 
options for editing that volume of photos efficiently (especially raw 
photos) pretty much suck.
