Dear OLUGgers,

Thank you for NOT helping me.  I ran into a problem with my Ubuntu desktop and knewe that I could have asked the list...........


BUT decided that was way too easy

so after doing some research I rtfuf ( read the ****** ubuntu forum ) and found an answer that worked.

making me more confident in

(a) hopefully asking more intelligent questions

and
(b) solving my own problems.

For the real toughie's I know I can always come to the list for help.
