[olug] line in problems

Was it the inputs on the mixer panel?  I had to play with those quite a bit
(including the input boost channels) to get mine working...  And, even then
it never worked all that well...  I suspect the jack on my system is crappy.
 Ended up going to a USB microphone to get good sound.  (In all fairness,
the headset / microphone worked fine on my laptop and netbook - just not on
the desktop system).
