COX's least expensive plan is $26 / month and only 1Mbit down / 256kbit up. Latencies easily rise to 4 or 5 seconds under load - much worse than my Alltel ever was. That simply is not competitive. Google, where are whitespaces? Would be cool to have our own long range wimax network with those ubiquiti bullets.
