And for the tougher tar stuck to the pelicans and shoreline, you'd need the
more powerful:
   rm -f *.tar

But DON'T use the "rm -rf *.tar" command -- that recursively goes past the
shoreline and throughout the entire continent removing all roads and other
oil-based products...
