Hey, if you use FireFox and Greasemonkey, here's a script that will
setup GMail to bottom post:

I did have to tweak the scripts control page to recognize
"https://mail.gmail.com/a/*"  (they had ".tld" instead of ".com" -- I
guess to make it generic for non-US users too).

As for making this a baked in solution, the Google Labs people have
this request page:
