OK I finally got it.

The video encode quality is terrible by "scene" standards.

It is h.264 in an mpeg4 wrapper

The audio is
mp4a: MPEG-4 AAC LC

My guess is you don't have a decoder for AAC

Some googleing says you need libfaad.

http://wiki.multimedia.cx/index.php?title=MPlayer_FAQ

"Anyone know how to play mp4 files with sound? I can only see video but no
audio.

        * check mplayer output for helpful messages.
        * Requested audio codec family [faad] (afm=faad) not available.
Enable it at compilation.
        * your mplayer was not compiled with faad support. recompile it
after installing libfaad package.

Subject: [olug] BT opensource video download

The video display quality is exceptional, but I get an error for the audio
that says: "cannot find codec for audio format 0x6134706D"

So no audio using Mplayer or Totem or Caffeine.

	Any suggestions?
