I'm game.

Some thoughts:

Equipment costs will be a non-issue, I have free 2600s, 3620s, 3640s,
and 2900XL and 3500XL switches coming out my ears ;)

Even with a 20Mbps pipe a 3620 should be more than enough - Cisco rates
them @ 10-20Mbps max, but that's assuming a worst case of 64-byte
packets, and it's pretty common for "typical" packets to be 300-500
bytes. A 3640 will absolutely do it but space could be at a premium, and
a 3640 is a 2U unit.

We'll also want to consider a 1U "utility server" with serial ports for
router & switch console access, TFTP, cacti or mrtg or ... for graphs,
etc. I have a number of machines that would be perfect for the job ;)
