Hi All,
I am not trying to start an OS flame war, but really need to know high points/low points for supporting SuSE Enterprise and/or RHEL.
The history: We "standardized" on SLES about 18 months ago, but since then we have aquired several different smaller companies and each of those are using RHEL. Now, upper management wants to re-open the "Which should we standardize on" question.
I have very definite pros for SLES vs RHEL, but mainly because I have been using SLES primarily over the past 3 years.
A couple of those "pros" are:
1) having the same support interface whether in X or in console with YaST -- same keyboard shortcuts and all.;
2) supporting multiple SCSI LUNs at install vs RHEL only supporting one (until the system is built) -- we boot from SAN on some systems and having multiple LUNs is an important issue for me.
3) install server software is included w/o needing to purchase a license for a "satellite server"

Those are a couple of my "high" points, there are others but don't want to make this too long.

Can someone fill in my RHEL blank spots?
I really want to be objective and upper management is looking to me to provide that objectivity.
Thank you all -- and again -- I really am not trying to start a OS flame war.
