What's wrong with setting up a forum of for sale / wanted stuff using
something like PHPBB?  Start a new thread for each group of stuff.
Lurkers don't need to subscribe -- just email the seller.  The seller
can update the thread when items are no longer available.  Items will
be archived indefinitely, which is good for hard-to-unload items.  It's
also searchable by Google for people who don't know to look directly
at this forum, or by PHPBB's internal search mechanism for people who
know to come here.

I've been running PHPBB for my own forums at jedi.com (http://forums.jedi.com)
for over a year now.  It takes very little resources, and is trivial to
manage.  Heck, I could even create a forum for this stuff on my existing
site if you guys want -- or you could use my existing "computer hardware"
forum.  It doesn't get much traffic currently.
