i'd say you need access.

bolt clippers will take out a master padlock.
many crash courses in lockpicking can be found online.
if it's behind a while, get a nice sledge.
if there are pipes (conduit or other) in the way, it's gonna be expensive.
my last suggestion, and the most fun..three words..

i left a debian machine running for two years without incident once (despite
