Thanks, good page.

After a bit of thinking about it, I think I will re-work how this monitor
works and passively monitor the traffic and create a chart based on that
information.  A program could capture just the header of the packets, it
could determine not only rate of transmission, it could also track the RTT
between packets and present the speed result only based on times there was
a transmission going on.

(Anyway the Internet doesn't need another bandwidth wasting utility anyway
-- YouTube and Adobe Flash are enough!)
