i agree with Sam  ... most video cards will support two LCDs at 1280x1024.

If your LCDs have a DVI port I would highly recommend getting a dual-DVI card.

When the LCDs are larger than 1600x1200, such as dells popular 2407WFP
1920x1200, then fewer dual DVI cards support that.  i'm not sure why
that is the case, but it seems to be common knowledge.

my series of dual head cards going back a few years

Matrox G450 dual VGA driving two 1024x768  LCDs. Later, two 18" LCDs

900XGL dual DVI driving two 1600x1200 LCDs

6600GT dual DVI driving two 1920x1200 LCDs

oddly, the 4 year old 64mb GeForce4 4200 card in my laptop drives
(twinview) both the laptop screen (1920x1200) and an external
1920x1200 LCD via the VGA port.

i ought to qualify all this by saying i do not game at all.
