[olug] gif animation?

  OK, that wasn't so hard (FreeBSD to the rescue - whirlgif from ports).


   Now I have this whopper animated gif I want to turn into an AVI or 
MPEG. It says here that the GIMP Animation Program will do this, but 
getting it loaded on SuSe? Frightful!

  Anyone have this thing handy and know how to use it? I don't want to 
be an expert in this, I just want this dataset uploaded to YouTube ...
