This says that your first floppy drive is mounted under /media/floppy0 (it
is a "vfat" filesystem).



If you put a good floppy diskette in the drive and type "ls -al
/media/floppy0" do you see the files?  Are your floppy drives
working now?



I know you mentioned both floppy and external USB attached drives -- we
can tackle that in a later e-mail.
