  Q) If you have multiple machines which is the primary?
  A) Linux is primary for probably 4 years..., added Window$ box 2 years
back so I could do tech support w/ less memory strain

  Q) Are you actually allowed to run Linux on your desktop or are you
running "under the radar"?
  A) Fully endorsed.

  Q) Did you install Linux or did come that way from your tech group?
  A) As w/ others, both. Leading tech group...

  Q) Are you encouraged, allowed or just tolerated?
  A) Encouraged

  Q) How many people have you been able to convert?
  A) Two others, a 70% linux user/30% windows user (does more Windows
tech support), and another "hacker" who has self-installed many distros
on test boxes, in process of migrating back-end production systems to Linux.

  Q) What are you running?
  A) FC4, CentOS AS4, RH AS3

  Q) What has been the biggest challenge in going to Linux?
  A) Acceptance of long learning curve, haven't reached the apex yet,
guess that's a good thing. Can see DRM malware becoming problematic if I
excluded "the pain of M$" from my life completely.

  Q) Thing that most suprises people about your desktop?
  A) multiple desktops, remote access, PVR "testbed"(might be "under the
radar" here, have "wowed" a couple of people w/ command line "covert"
and image manipulation, sound & video (sometimes even impresses me, it's
working at the moment, but when being in one of those "out of the box"
moods, OSX and Windows really take much less diddling IF it's working.
IF it's not working OSX/Windows I'd much rather twiddle a Linux box.
