Has anyone seen (or done?) a review of the various e-mail clients and
their possible replacement of MS-Outlook?  I've played with
Thunderbird and Evolution and they are close, but the calendar handling is
not quite there...

Thunderbird was extremely easy to setup, but it didn't make it east (or
consistent) to add my complex Inbox (lots of folders, sub-folders, and
sub-sub-folders...).  The multi-media extensions (i.e clicking on an
attached video or MP3 file) seemed to work pretty well -- it shelled out
to the default player (Totem).  (Unfortunately, Totem is another
matter...)

Evolution seemed to be better able to auto-matically download my folders,
but it was a pain to get setup (a lot of trial-and-error), and it didn't
understand the "Public Folders" that Exchange sets up -- I ended
up downloading 700+MB of that company created folder before I determined
what was taking so long.  I couldn't determine a way to tell it to
keep other off-line stuff but don't synchronize the Public Folders...

Are there other things that I might have missed?  Since my company
has a license for Outlook, I might investigate the Wine solutions (i.e.
Crossover Office) -- but from what I have heard, Outlook is still a
"works pretty well", but it isn't 100% yet. :(
