You can also use uptime for summary performance info.

Or another one with real time info is 

vmstat 5

You can do vmstat by itself to get a summary like uptime.

Thanks for the info. I only used ps -e , and df -vk most the time. "top" is
pretty cool.
Looks like I just need a lil bit more RAM.

Ya guys it is a linux box, gentoo on Linode.
If anyone is using DirectConect my hub address is bbox0.servebeer.com:411

10k users max, 24/7, I expect only one reboot of the hub after I finish a
script.
