I have a 1ghz celeron, case, cheap pci video card, cdrom, hard drive, floppy, NIC, I think I have a good atx psu and maybe spare ram. So I guess i need to find mobo and card with video input. I also have a usb cam but i dont think its suitable, so I may scroung around for something better like a real cam 8mm.
How much bandwidth is avail. for the source to relay stream? 300k or better would be a must.
I have an ok Linode that I could also use for relaying streams if we cant do it on OLUG machine. Last time I checked I was getting 35Mb true transfer. So she can push it out BW wise.
Just thinking outloud. Almost too much for 5am.
