[olug] power management??

attempted setterm w/ the blank 0 option, but didn't know about -powersave
off.

also, Right-Click on desktop gives complete menu of options, but NONE work.

kcontrol (?) on work desktop says apm not fully installed, but I can try
that when I get home.

still accepting comments..... :-)

I cant remember if this works in X also, but you can use the setterm
command.

Example:
 setterm -powersave off -blank 0

THINK I need to access power management for display, turn off, or extend
timeout.

Anybody help me figure out which commandline prog I'm supposed to
"twiddle"?? or proper .conf?
