[olug] sendmail

Would postfix be a better option?  How would you do the transition to
that??  Can you tell I have lots of questions about to to do about this
little problem?

Get the Bat book from O'Reily, then familiarize yourself with the .cf
file
and the .mc file,  use the sendmail docs that come with your distro,
sendmail.org has some good tips too.

There is a lot of info out there on sendmail.  I still use sendmail as
my
workhorse mailer daemon (last 10-12 years),  and I have procmail working
with it so I can use spamassassin and clamav with it.

Where/what would be the quickest way to learn sendmail, or at least the
basics?  I have a possible long term side gig but need to learn sendmail
