[olug] iPaq wireless suck factor

  Does iPaq wireless suck or what? I've got this HX2410, I played with 
it using the factory Windows Mobile load, I updated to the two week old 
firmware, and you can't trust a thing on the screen re: wireless. Config 
it a couple of times and maybe the changes will stick. Survey function 
gets the -90 AP down the street but not the one beside my desk. Manger 
says its connected and it reports a changing signal level but the AP 
doesn't see the device.

  Will all this goofiness go away if I put Linux on it? Does anyone in 
town carry the necessary cables to interface to the thing?
