[olug] Local internet access.

It's the folks who say that they are "old pro"'s that you have to watch out the most for :).

Now, if they are doing it with one IP, they are likely using BGP. In fact, that's just about the only way to do it. With two routers it would be a PITA, ideally you'd want one router with two ADSL interfaces. If you are using BGP, it would require cooperation from your ISP, definitely. That is the most elegant way of doing it, and pretty much the only way with one IP for two physical/virtual DSL circuits.

I guess, maybe, it's possible to do multilink PPP on a DSL. FOr the life of me I don't know WHY one would want to, nor of any DSL CPE that would support it - but I guess theoretically it's possible if your ISP supports it.

In general, this is a question I've visited quite a bit, and there is no simple solution for it. :(

Have I seen it done? Hope, just heard of it...will I look into doing this? Nope, too lazy to do anything that'll get me in trouble.

I asked the lord of the land if I could install 2 phone lines for twin DSL bussiness connections and I got the OK, I'll be moving in 4-5 months. Then I can make my twin rack with a bunk bed on top. =D
